Smallville Tomb Eppie Story

It was all a terrible nightmare, with a rush and roar, paining words and voices surrounded her. Nothing felt like home, with dread Chloe’s realizes she’s all alone… Everything was fine, she was still breathing, nervously she scanned left and right her eyes spiky with tears, her voice hoarse from screaming into the distance, like darkness it showed no light. Chloe ran her hands through her disheveled hair as she heard an eerie voice cry out for help. Slowly Chloe looked around, her hands trembled as she opened up her wardrobe, the oak doors swung open and she couldn’t seem to find anything that was a clue. True, she was scared but that person obviously needed something, some help, someone. No one wants to be alone; she decided as she grabbed a flashlight near her bedside table and shone it through the small Talon apartment.
“Hello?” Chloe called shaking in the darkness. “Anyone there?” The creaking of floorboards was heard and Chloe jumped up in fright her whole body came to a standstill. She panted as she realized with dread she could feel something beneath her pale cold feet. Slowly she put a strand of blonde hair behind her left ear and looked at her foot. There was a dark like substance, carefully Chloe ran her fingertip across it and it dripped onto the floor. “…blood…” she realized in fear as she saw the crimson footprints lead down to her bathroom. “Help me” the voice repeated, it sounded scared and traumatized, like a little girl, she had been haunted before but this was getting to be extremely disturbing. Carefully Chloe opened her bathroom door and jumped startled; standing there was a young girl, she had black long hair and dark eyes, wearing a white blood stained gown and her eyes streaming with tears. Chloe shone the flashlight and noticed there were two slits down the girls wrists, she shook feeling chilly as the girl screamed “HELP ME!”
Chloe stepped back and ran, she bolted down to the kitchen and frantically thrashed open the draws and found the longest sharpest knife and held it by her side and waited… Suddenly a clatter interrupted her thoughts, she felt this strong power flow through her veins in a rushing violent motion, staying completely still she breathed in shakily.
“I’ve got to free myself…” she muttered as she raised the knife up in the air as the late night thunder crackled loudly, she heard the clattering from her shower and then heard a voice from the front door. Carefully Chloe walked slowly with the knife breathing in shrilly, she swung open the door and held the knife in the air prepared to attack.
“CHLOE?” Clark yelled, he raised his arm to stop her from lowering the knife any further, he realized she was shaking violently and was about to slash him to pieces.
“Clark…what…are…you…doing…here?” Chloe demanded as she turned away from him and stalked to the kitchen frightened. Clark’s eyes went wide and his gaze turned from apprehension to fear. He knew she was holding a knife, he also knew he was about to hurt someone with it… Carefully Clark looked up at Chloe when she had managed to catch her breath. He swallowed not sure how to ask her what he wanted to know.
“Chloe…” he began softly as she shivered. “What…what were you doing with that knife?” he asked her gently his eyes flashing worriedly as all sorts of images entered his mind. Chloe suddenly turned to him defensive.
“Nothing, I just thought I saw…Look; I don’t remember this being ANY of your business!” Chloe snapped as she wiped stray tears from her eyes and Clark grabbed her shoulders and looked at her annoyed.
“None of my business!? Chloe, you almost thrashed me with that knife!” Clark argued as he looked at Chloe who looked at him hurt. She sniffled and smiled softly.
“Clark…I’m sorry!” Chloe apologized as tears began to fill her eyes; Clark instantly felt guilty and wrapped his arms around Chloe apologetically.
“I’m so, so sorry Chlo, I just...” Clark began speechless and he hugged Chloe tight, Chloe sniffled as she exhaled onto his blue cheque farm shirt. Suddenly Chloe could hear that voice, she instantly let go of Clark and backed away, he looked at her worriedly.
“Chloe,” Clark called her as she continued backing away, “What’s wrong?” he asked as Chloe felt a sickening sensation in her stomach. She shivered as she looked at Clark pale and frightened. “Someone’s here…” she whispered as she glanced around nervously, Clark grabbed Chloe’s arm and gently tried to speak to her.
“No one is its okay.” Clark promised but Chloe could hear something pulling her deeper into the darkness. Chloe looked at him worriedly and then looked at him smiling.
“Clark!” she said smiling through her tears. “Free me! Free me now!” Chloe insisted as she grabbed the knife and gave it to him. She held out her hands and sobbed.
“Help me! Free me from my pain! Please Clark help me!” she sobbed as she waited for him to do what she wanted. He looked up at her completely consumed by panic, she looked at him and cried hysterically.
“DO IT!” she cried as he shook his head and tried to grab her, she looked at him and sighed sobbing.
“Chloe, I can’t do that! This isn’t the way to let the pain go!” Clark insisted as Chloe looked at him terror in her eyes.
